The Symposium marks the establishment of Center for Precision Medicine in Complex and Rare Disease and provides an exciting overview of the visions

for use of whole genome sequencing and biomarkers relative to precision medicine and individualized treatment in health care in Southern Denmark.

Two exciting international Keynote speakers have been invited:

Professor Antonio Iavarone, Institute for Cancer Genetics, Columbia University, New York, USA,

who will talk about: “Precision medicine and drivers of glioblastoma” ,

and

Postdoc, PhD Christian Gilissen, Genomic Disorders, Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands,

who will talk about: “Unraveling the genetics of intellectual disability by exome and genome sequencing”.
