The project aims to exploit synergies to achieve greater harmonisation at policy and service provisioning across these countries, in compliance with EOSC agreed standards and practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SDU eScience center participate in the work package 3 &#8220;Support to prospective EOSC service providers&#8221; with tasks related to EOSC-compliant integrated research infrastructure and the technical interoperability of services; and in work package 5 &#8220;Open research data &amp; services \u2013 demonstrators&#8221; with tasks for demonstrating PaaS for Scientific Cloud Computing across borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Key facts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Start: September 2019<\/li><li>End: August 2022<\/li><li>24 project participants from 10 countries<\/li><li>6 work packages<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1>Knowledge Hub<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>A joined coordination of EOSC relevant initiatives within the Nordic and Baltic countries will be launched in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>EOSC collects and shares information<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A Knowledge Hub will be developed in order to collect and share information from Nordic and Baltic countries<\/li><li>The new Hub will contain information on research infrastructure providers, FAIR data approaches, Open science policies and use cases<\/li><li>Project results such as guidelines, recommendations, and user experiences will be openly accessible in an open web portal<\/li><li>The Knowledge Hub will also deliver information with respect to events, training, workshops and future calls within research infrastructures<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>What does the Knowledge Hub provide and for who?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The information is delivered by experts in the respective countries through cross-border working groups \/ work packages<\/li><li>EOSC targets a diverse group of stakeholders ranging from universities, researchers, ministries, service providers and policymakers<\/li><li>EOSC feeds regional learnings into the EOSC community. \u201cIf we can do it \u2013 They can do it \u201c<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About EOSC-Nordic EOSC-Nordic aims to facilitate the coordination of EOSC relevant initiatives within the Nordic and Baltic countries.
