Please submit your application&nbsp;<strong>on the 15th of December at the latest<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember that you can apply for resources on four different types of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/escience.sdu.dk\/index.php\/national-hpc-systems\/\">National Systems<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HPC Type1, Interactive HPC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access the YouGene cluster hosted at the SDU eScience Center and the GPUs and Virtual Machine (VM) infrastructure at Aalborg University via&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/escience.sdu.dk\/index.php\/ucloud\/\" target=\"_blank\">UCloud<\/a>&nbsp;by submitting a grant application for a research project as explained in the related&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.cloud.sdu.dk\/guide\/resources-grant.html\" target=\"_blank\">documentation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resources available to SDU for the first half of 2023: 2,000,000 CPU core hours and 99,000 GPU core hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HPC Type 2 \u2013 Throughput HPC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access the HPC Type 2 facilities by submitting an <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/escience.sdu.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Template-for-applications-DeiC-Type-2-HPC.docx\" target=\"_blank\">application form<\/a>\u00a0via our\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jira.cloud.sdu.dk\/servicedesk\/customer\/user\/login?destination=portals\" target=\"_blank\">service desk<\/a>. The hardware accessible to SDU users for a Type 2 HPC project is shown below.\u00a0<strong>NB: there is no FAT or GPU nodes on Type 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Compurerome 2.0<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>GenomeDK<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Sophia<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Xeon Gold 6230 Cascade Lake, 40 cores, 192 GB&nbsp;<\/td><td>AMD EPYC Rome 7452, 64 cores, 512 GB<\/td><td>AMD EPYC 7351, 32 cores, 128 GB<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resources available to SDU for the first half of 2023: 1,440,000 CPU core hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HPC Type 3 \u2013 Large Memory HPC&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/escience.sdu.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Template-for-applications-DeiC-Type-3-HPC.docx\" target=\"_blank\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/escience.sdu.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Template-for-applications-DeiC-Type-3-HPC.docx\" target=\"_blank\">The application form<\/a>\u00a0<\/a>for resources on one of the HPC Type 3 systems should also be submitted to our\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jira.cloud.sdu.dk\/servicedesk\/customer\/user\/login?destination=portals\" target=\"_blank\">service desk<\/a>.
