The list of winners was revealed at the SC22 HPCwire booth, as well as on the HPCwire website:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hpcwire.com\/2022-hpcwire-awards-readers-editors-choice\">www.hpcwire.com\/2022-hpcwire-awards-readers-editors-choice<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LUMI was recognized with the Editors\u2019 Choice:&nbsp;<strong>Best Sustainability Innovation in HPC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The coveted annual HPCwire Readers\u2019 and Editors\u2019 Choice Awards are determined through a nomination and voting process with the global HPCwire community, as well as selections from the HPCwire editors. The awards are an annual feature of the publication and constitute prestigious recognition from the HPC community. They are revealed each year to kick off the annual supercomputing conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also at SC22, it was once again confirmed that LUMI is amongst the fastest and greenest supercomputers in the world. Reaching a measured High-Performance Linpack (HPL) performance of 309 petaflops, LUMI was ranked third on the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.top500.org\/lists\/top500\/2022\/11\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.top500.org\/lists\/top500\/2022\/11\/\" target=\"_blank\">Top500 list<\/a>, thereby maintaining its status as the fastest supercomputer in Europe.
