Understanding folding of RNA is important as wrongly folded molecules could lead to serious diseases. We use a computer simulation method called \u201cmolecular dynamics\u201d for studying the physical movements of atoms and molecules. On ABACUS2.0 molecules are represented as 3-dimensional geometrical data and a single simulation of one experiment requires about 7000 simulation steps.
