To do simulations at regional or global scale with these terrestrial ecosystem models, we use HPC systems such as ABACUS 2.0.<\/p>\n<p>These results can help us to understand how future climate change will affect the ability of different ecosystems to take up carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
