The DeiC Board now invites universities, or consortia of universities, to submit expressions of interest regarding the establishment and operation of the national HPC centers for the coming 3-year period. This is done on the basis of the Strategy for National Cooperation on Digital Research Infrastructure, which aims to strengthen national cooperation on the digital research infrastructure and to ensure that Danish researchers have access to world-class digital infrastructure.

Specifically, it involves the establishment and operation of four different computer architectures and a system that links all resources together to a national platform and supports the HPC-as-a-Service mindset. In this context, an expression of interest should be understood as a non-binding offer of services at a given price and with mutual understanding that there will be a subsequent negotiation of details. Of course, there are a number of conditions that must be met in this regard and the general requirements for the expression of interest are posted in more detail on the following: (in Danish): https://www.deic.dk/da/news/2020-04-03/nationalhpc

Expressions of interest can be sent to DeiC by April 30, 2020.
